Interior Architecture

Interior Architecture Program
Interior architecture is an applied field including various services that require specialization, such as interior analysis, space planning, aesthetic evaluation, adaptive reuse, interior construction/furniture detailing, physical environment control, material selection and construction site management. Reuse of existing building stockstands out as an important sector activity in our country, however, postgraduate programs that offer the opportunity to specialize in the field of interior architecture remain limited. The program aims to provide an educationand a research environment that allows for specialization in interior design, detailing, physical environment control, adaptative reuse of historical buildings and human-space interaction. The program intends to convey the knowledge and the ability of collecting, analyzing and using functional, technical and behavioral data in the interior architecture researches. The curriculum provides an interdisciplinary view that includes information from disciplines such as architecture, industrial product design, engineering, psychology as well as interior architecture.Interior architecture program is recently conducting only MSc degree. Graduates of the program have a “MSc degree in Interior Architecture program”.
