Prof.Dr.Musa ŞAHİN

                                                                                               

He is a faculty member at Istanbul University, Department of Chemistry. He received his undergraduate degree from Kocaeli University, Department of Chemistry, and his graduate and doctorate degrees from Istanbul University Institute of Science Inorganic Chemistry program. His main research subjects are the design and synthesis of coordination compounds, which are active in different fields, and the investigation of their biological, optical, sensory and catalytic properties.

She is a faculty member at Istanbul University, Department of Chemistry. She received her undergraduate degree from Istanbul University Chemistry Department, and her master's and doctorate degrees from Istanbul University Institute of Science Inorganic Chemistry program. Her main research subjects are the design and synthesis of coordination compounds, which are active in different fields, and the investigation of their biological, optical, sensory and catalytic properties.






Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa BENER

                                                                                        


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bener is a faculty member at Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry Department. He received his undergraduate degree from the Department of Chemistry at Istanbul University and his doctorate from the Analytical Chemistry program of the Institute of Science. Within the scope of his doctoral thesis studies, he worked as a visiting researcher in the Food Science Department of the United States of America Louisiana State University for a while. His main research interests include the development of classical detection methods for the determination of antioxidants and other bioactive compounds, the development of optical/nanosensor-based methods, the development of extraction techniques for antioxidants, and the development of various spectroscopic/chromatographic analytical methods.






Asso. Prof. Dr. Amaç Fatih TUYUN

                                                                                                


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amaç Fatih Tuyun is a faculty member at Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Department. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Istanbul University, Department of Chemical Engineering, he completed his master's and doctoral studies in Istanbul University, Institute of Science, Department of Organic Chemistry. During his doctorate, he spent some time in Ukraine (National University "Lviv Polytechnic", Department of Technology of Biologically Active Substances, Pharmacy and Biotechnology, Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies) to conduct studies on biological research of synthetic molecules. Currently working as a faculty member at Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amaç Fatih TUYUN has more than 40 scientific articles. While working on the development of useful new synthetic molecules, he carries out especially design, synthesis and preclinical studies of molecules with promising biological properties. Many of his designed and synthesized studies maintain active collaborations with researchers in America, Europe and Asia.






Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz  Selim AŞÇI

                                                                                              


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selim AŞÇI is a faculty member at Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, Department of Physical Chemistry. He received his undergraduate degree from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Istanbul University and his doctorate from the Institute of Science, Basic Operations and Thermodynamics program of the same department. His research has focused on the separation-purification of biotechnological products, the synthesis of environmentally friendly new solvents, as well as the development of appropriate application methods and the optimization of all these processes by examining them with Thermodynamic calculations. Studies in these fields continue, especially in the last period, by making partnerships with important scientific centers and researchers in their fields, mostly in European Countries. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selim AŞÇI has more than 30 scientific articles in journals that rank first in indexes in his field, as well as patent applications pending registration of the results obtained from all these processes.
